Originally from Elizabeth, N.J., Manny began his fitness journey after losing 30 lbs doing “fitness dvds”. One day while surfing the internet, he stumbled upon a video labeled ”What is Crossfit?” This video sparked his curiosity to look for CrossFit boxes in his area and he signed up for his first free class.
He showed up, not knowing what to expect. The workout was 7 mins. long and left him floored and shocked that he got got such an intense workout in such a short amount of time. He has been hooked ever since.
Manny became certified to coach Crossfit in 2011, one year after taking his first class. He is passionate about making sure that athletes in his classes are having fun, staying safe, learning something new and leaving their stresses behind for the hour they’re with him.
