CrossFit Kids combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics, and athletic elements to develop capacity across 10 General Physical Skills (i.e. coordination, balance, flexibility, and agility).
While the children are playing the CrossFit Games and activities, they are also learning proper movement mechanics that will encourage confidence and create a broad athletic foundation.
What to wear: Comfortable workout clothes, t-shirts, sneakers, light jacket. What to bring: Snacks, water, packed lunch.
Kids CrossFit Games: Musical medicine balls, Tarzan, CrossFit baseball and bowling, kid sled pull.
Skills and Body Awareness: Handstand hold, ring holds, air squats, pull ups, sumo deadlift high pull, rope climbs, push press.
Nutrition: Food group games and creating healthy snacks.
